With the development of waste classification in major cities in China, the reduction and resource treatment of large-sized waste has been put on the agenda. Large-sized waste refers to waste weighing more than 5 kilograms, or larger than 0.2 cubic meters in volume, or more than 1 meter in length, with strong integrity, and needs to be dismantled or disposed, including waste furniture and household appliances. Large-sized waste has the characteristics of large volume, high treatment technology requirements, high potential for recycling, etc., waste furniture belongs to "low-value renewable waste", most cities in China have not yet established standardized rules and regulations for the collection, transportation, storage, recycling and other aspects of large-sized waste and collection and transportation treatment system, infrastructure construction and end treatment are also seriously insufficient.
